My Kentucky Sky
 Final Edition
December 2001

I want to thank you for your time and interest in My Kentucky Sky.
After more than 3 years on the World Wide Web and over fourteen thousand visitors, I've decided to terminate the monthly updates of what's up in the sky.  You can still view most* of my photos of sunrises and sunsets, and many of the photos I've collected from NASA.  For the dedicated dozen or so faithful monthly readers, I am grateful for your friendship and I will take heart in the knowledge that when you and I look up at night, we share the same sky and stars and moon and sun.  May all your starry skies be clear.  Look Up!

* Freeservers has placed a limit on the size of files that can be downloaded.  The limit is 256Kb.  This is large enough for many, but not all the photos that were previously available.

Heavenly Bodies...Let's face it, you're never going to see the solar system through your telescope as close up as these spectacular photos take you!  View the planets and their satellites in this collection of graphics from outer space.

Sunrise - Sunset...When clouds get in the way, there is a silver lining.  The momentary but ageless beauty of the sunrise and sunset is captured and shared with my world wide friends. - the latest information from the space world
Sky Online - a great source of high quality information
Astronomy Magazine - Another fine online publication
NASA - the premier space agency
Earth and Sky - The popular radio show is online
Space Weather - determine when solar flares are about to set the atmosphere aflame
National Space Aeronautics Museum - home of Space Camp and other attractions
